In this opening scene, the first title, which you can see in  is the name of the Writer and The Director, which is Michael J. Bassett.

The second title is the name of the producer, which is Samuel Hadida.

The next title which is shown tells the name of the producer Don Carmody and after the producer, there is the executive and the co-producer.
This opening tells the audience also that the film is based on the game created by KONAMI, which is the next title.
After that the next few titles describe the name of the persons, which did the Scenes, Music and Director of Photography. At this time, the next titles are all about the Design, Picture Making or Costume.
Then after all the producing titles, there are now the actors named after each other.

After the actors, they present the title of the film.

The following title is the production company, which is Silent Hill 2 DCP INC and Davis Film, associated with KONAMI.
The last two titles are than a review of the first two titles to show who the main people are, which directed and produced this film.

The opening scene generally is very monotonous, because the background is just like a camera filming around a paused picture of a scene. So therefore the colour is always the same and the stuff you see is also always just like fighting people. So this opening scene does not influence me a lot in my first ideas of my thriller.
